The Australian - Retired Rollerskating World Champion Sophie Muir Pursues Winter Olympics Goal

IF you had asked Sophie Muir in August last year, about the time of the Beijing Games, if she could ever become a winter Olympian, she would have thought it impossible.

At that stage, she was a retired in-line rollerskating world champion and qualified nurse who was half-way through a round-the-world backpacking holiday with her boyfriend.
